the original joke. it had literally nothing to do with mental illness. someone along the line saw it, related it to mental illness, and then a bunch of other people started doing stuff based on that. you don’t get to stick a flag in a fucking internet joke and claim it as only belonging to a specific group especially when it wasn’t even made by that group that is so fucking ridiculous i can’t even find the words right now

and again, just as a general point, you’re talking about meme appropriation good fucking lord please go outside.
