For the most part, last night’s 3-hour debate was a snooze-fest.  I certainly wouldn’t blame anybody who turned the thing off and watched re-runs of Chopped on Netflix instead.  There were some crucial moments throughout the evening, and we’ve collected 5 of the biggest for you here.

1) Ted Cruz schools John Kasich on the lunacy of allowing Iran to inspect their own nuclear sites.  You can see Kasich fuming during Cruz’s answer, and Kasich never recovered throughout the remainder of the debate.

2) Carly Fiorina dares President Obama and Hillary Clinton to watch the Planned Parenthood organ harvesting videos.

3) Rand Paul educates the other candidates on drug policy, medical marijuana, and the 10th Amendment.  Cary Fiorina cleans up the mess with a powerful personal story of losing a son to drug addiction.

4) Dr. Ben Carson educates Donald Trump on vaccines, but Trump continues espousing debunked theories linking vaccines to autism.  

5) Marco Rubio lands body blows on Trumps clueless non-answers on foreign policy, saying the Commander in Chief must be ready on day 1 to defend the United States against foreign enemies.
