Once young girl is in bedroom reading about history of glorious Soviet Union when she is hearing her mother call to her from kitchen.  Being good obedient child, girl runs downstairs to see what mother wants.  As she is running down hallway, hand reaches out from cupboard under stairs and grabs her. Is girl’s mother. Mother whispers to child, “Don’t go in kitchen. I heard it too.”

Girl berates her mother for being coward and finds capitalist spy in kitchen. Girl reports spy to KGB and is given extra bread ration. Mother is sentenced to hard labor for failing to do duty to Motherland.
